Ready to get spooky? Join us for the 2024 MIAD Halloween Party on Saturday, October 26th, in the MIAD Union. The party starts at 6:00 PM and ends at 9:00 PM. Grab a friend, dress up, and creep onto the dance floor—we know you’re dying to get out there!

Is dancing not your thing? No worries: the Halloween Party’s got you covered. Kick back with a few JackBox games in room 160 or stalk the snack table for scary sweets and treats. If the scares are getting to you, head to the Equity and Inclusion Center on the 2nd floor. There, you can play with some fidget toys and participate in small crafts in the quiet of our De-Stim Room.

Want to show off your scare skills with a costume? Sign up for the 2024 Costume Contest. There are five categories to participate in: Scariest Costumes, Store-Bought Costumes, Homemade Costumes, Funniest Costumes, and Group Costumes. All winners will receive a specialized medallion and prize money, with obligatory bragging rights. At the end of the contest, the winners of each category will compete to become the Fan Favorite, chosen by the audience. The Fan Favorite will receive a bonus prize! Winners will be announced at the end of the contest.

Sign up for the Costume Contest here: https://forms.gle/LRryUrzCk5C4Rq8x9. Sign-ups close on Friday, October 25th, 2024, at 6:00 PM.

All MIAD students must bring their MIAD ID to be permitted entry to the party. Want to bring a guest to the party? No problem! All guests must present a valid ID (state ID, driver’s license, college ID, etc) before entering and will be given a guest sticker to wear throughout the night. Guests must be escorted by MIAD students at all times; non-MIAD students are not permitted to roam the school alone. Guests found without an escort will be asked to leave.

Volunteers are greatly appreciated and necessary to keep the Halloween Party running smoothly. Interested in volunteering? Please fill out this form to let us know: https://forms.gle/vXNwXa2MTkA723YJ6.

As a reminder, MIAD is a dry campus and has a zero-tolerance policy for alcohol or drug consumption on campus. Please be safe at any and all parties during this season.
