I hope your winter break is off to a great start and that you find time to relax and unwind and have a wonderful holiday season!
Fall final grades will be emailed to all students on Tuesday, December 17th. Please make sure you review them. If you no longer meet the prerequisites for a spring class, it will be dropped from your schedule. Contact the Registrar’s office to make changes.
A few things to note:
– MIAD is closed December 24, 2024 – January 1, 2025; please plan accordingly!
– Incomplete Grades – if you are assigned an incomplete grade, it is your responsibility to follow the deadlines set by the faculty. It is your responsibility to keep in contact with the instructor should question come up, or any other issues. All final grades must be submitted by faculty no later than January 13th. Deadlines for incomplete work may be before January 13th to allow time to review the work. Follow the deadline set by the instructor.
– Grade Appeals – Students may appeal a grade if they have evidence to support a change. Appeals are due in writing (via email) to Mónica Lloyd, Dean of Students; monicalloyd@miad.edu by: Monday, December 30, 2024. In your appeal, you must include your reasoning for requesting the appeal and evidence to support your request.
– You will be notified via email if you are registered for any spring classes in which the prerequisites are no longer met. WATCH YOUR EMAILS!!
