Are you interested in international travel, research, and teaching opportunities? If so, please join this MIAD “common hour” presentation to learn more about the Fulbright Program. This prestigious international academic exchange program has an ambitious goal — to increase mutual understanding and support friendly and peaceful relations between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. There are many opportunities for artists, designers, and scholars! The Fulbright US Student Program provides post-graduate opportunities that may be of interest to MIAD students and recent graduates and the Fulbright US Scholar Program provides a variety of opportunities for faculty and staff.
We are pleased to host the following session at MIAD by Kate Copeland, an artist, educator, and Fulbright Alumni Ambassador based in Portland, Oregon:
Thursday, March 27 from 11:15 – 12:15 in MIAD room 299Q
In this second session, Kate will share information about application processes. She’ll start with an overview for students and graduates featuring information about the Fulbright US Student Program. She’ll then move on to share tips and tricks relevant for faculty and staff who are applying to the Fulbright US Scholar Program, based on her own experiences as a two-time applicant. We’ll save lots of time for Q&A!
