Join us for the 2025 MIAD Spring Dance on Saturday, March 29th, in the MIAD Union. This year’s theme is Enchanted Forest. The party starts at 6:00 PM and ends at 9:00 PM. Grab a friend, dress up, and make your way onto the dance floor for some high-fantasy fun!
Is dancing not your thing? No worries: we’ve got you covered. Kick back with a few JackBox games or hit the snack table for some delicious sweets and treats, catered by Beans & Barley. If the forest’s enchantment is getting to you, head up to the Center on the 2nd floor. There, you can play with some fidget toys and participate in small crafts in the quiet of our De-Stim Room.
Want to show off your skills with a costume? Sign up for the Spring 2025 Masquerade. There are five categories to participate in: Jolliest Jester, Most Regal, Highest Whimsy, Bravest Knight, and Filthiest Peasant. All contestants will be judged by a qualified panel of costume-savvy students based on creativity, uniqueness, craftsmanship, and overall presentation. Winners will be announced at the end of the contest.

All MIAD students must bring their MIAD ID to be permitted entry to the party. Want to bring a guest to the party? No problem! All guests must present a valid ID (state ID, driver’s license, college ID, etc) before entering and will be given a guest sticker to wear throughout the night. Guests must be escorted by MIAD students at all times; non-MIAD students are not permitted to roam the school alone. Guests found without an escort will be asked to leave.

As a reminder, MIAD is a dry campus and has a zero-tolerance policy for alcohol or drug consumption on campus. Please be safe at any and all parties during this season.

Monday, March 24th, 2025: Spirit Day! Show off your MIAD Spirit by wearing MIAD merch!
Tuesday, March 25th, 2025: Anything But a Backpack Day! Carry your supplies around in something unconventional!
Wednesday, March 26th, 2025: Pajama Day! Bust out your best slippers and fanciest robes, ‘cause it’s snoozing time!
Thursday, March 27th, 2025: Springween! It’s like Halloween, but in the Spring!
Friday, March 28th, 2025: Formal Day! Dress to the nines in your best suits and gowns!
