MIAD’s most popular events, or Traditions, are large-scale annual events that Student Party plans and facilitates each year. Alongside the help of the staff, faculty, and the student body, Student Party aims to host events that can entertain every student on campus.
If you are interested in learning more about or volunteering to help with any of MIAD’s Traditions, come to one of Student Party’s bi-weekly meetings in 495A during common hour, or check out the MIAD Student Party Discord server found in the MIAD Student Hub.

Ready to get spooky? Put together your best costume and attend the Halloween Party!
The Halloween Party is the biggest event of the Fall semester. Hundreds of students get together in the Union to hang out, dance, admire one another’s costumes, chow down on snacks, and compete in the Costume Contest.

Who doesn’t love wiling away six-to-twelve hours at the Movie Marathon?
During the Fall semester, students vote on the theme of the movies viewed at the Movie Marathon.
Those who come to the marathon have a chance to win any number of raffle prizes and movie merch. Students who survive the marathon also receive special custom swag.
