Are you ready for the MIAD Halloween Party on Saturday, October 26th, 2024? Get hyped during Spirit Week, with theme days every day leading up to the dance! Everyone, including all students, staff, and faculty, are welcome to participate.
Monday, October 21st is Ratcore Day! Dress like a MIAD River Rat and show off your MIAD merch! Or, dress like a rat, in general…
Tuesday, October 22nd is Spooky Day! Show us your spookiest and scariest outfits, or lean into the Halloween Party’s theme of Carn-EVIL! (Get it? Carnival? Carn-evil?)
Wednesday, October 23rd is Pajama Day! Bust out your best slippers and fanciest robes, ‘cause it’s snoozing time! (Please dress appropriately.)
Thursday, October 24th is Dress Like Your Favorite Instructor Day! Show some love to your favorite teachers or MIAD staff by emulating their signature style!
Friday, October 25th is RGB vs. CMYK Day! Stan your preferred color mode by wearing the appropriate colors!
Please take lab safety into consideration when wearing costumes, masks or other Spirit Week gear. Check with your lab technicians if you have any questions about required or restricted clothing in lab settings.
Additionally, take part in the Spirit Week Stamp Rally! There are seven stations set up around the school. Pick up a card and get to stamping! Students who fill out their entire stamp card can enter a raffle to win various prizes. More information on the Stamp Rally can be found on the back of the Stamp Rally cards.
Lastly, each day of Spirit Week, during common hour, various departments will be hosting different activities in the lower lobby of MIAD. Stop on by, play some games, and win some prizes!
Make sure to attend the Halloween Party on Saturday, October 26th, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the MIAD Student Union. Have a great Spirit Week!
