How do the arts inspire reproductive action? Local artists and panelists offer responses to this question and interrogate how artistic practice can inspire personal healing, advocacy and educational insight. Drawing on the artistic narratives portraying infertility and reproductive loss featured in the exhibit “In a State of IF,” this panel identifies creative responses that foster community awareness on these issues. Following the panel, attendees will be invited to join a series of participatory art projects connected to the exhibit. “In a State of IF” co-curator Maria Novotny will moderate the event, connecting reproductive justice to the exhibit’s focus on infertility.
