We are looking for two students to paint Adirondack chairs and wooden benches with watery themes DURING MAY for Growing Green Gardens Network, Inc. Growing Green Gardens is a nonprofit focused on accessible growing and gardening education in Milwaukee.
Each student will paint two (2) wooden Adirondack chairs, and one (1) wooden bench each with an artist’s expression of the role water plays / has played in America. We would be especially interested in work about the role of the Great Lakes in the Underground Railroad, and their continued use for asylum seekers. Each student will receive $250. Materials will be provided.
