Who doesn’t love wiling away six to twelve hours staring at a screen? Join us on Saturday, February 20, 2027, for the Movie Marathon!
MIAD’s annual Movie Marathon is the perfect opportunity to earn rewards just for watching movies. At this all-day event, students can enter a raffle after each movie to earn prizes related to the marathon theme. Students who stay the entire marathon can earn a special enamel pin to show their dedication to the craft of binge-watching.
The student body decides each year’s movie marathon theme. Voting takes place over three rounds, starting at the beginning of the Fall semester. This year’s theme will be announced Monday, December 7, 2026.
Round 1 of voting allows students to suggest as many theme ideas as they want. The sky’s the limit! Round 1 of voting ends October 1st, 2025.
